Wednesday was a bad night for Aggie Hoops, as both the men and women fell. Granted the men were supposed to lose, but not after taking a lead on the road, in Norman, against the number 2 Sooners. But then again, the number 2 Sooners are supposed to come back, at home, against an unranked team, and win. So yay them. However the Aggies were supposed to beat the Iowa State Cyclones, with being ranked number 4 in the nation and all. However, keeping with tradition (since us Aggies like that and all) Gary Blair has yet to win at Ames. So there you go. Wednesday blew for Aggie Athletics. But baseball is a preseason Number 1 and the National Runners-up softball take the field for the first time Friday (they're only ranked number 4... so low).
wow...so, you like sports! That's cool. My friend named Joey is a TOTAL sports freak, he would LOVE this site. As for me, don't get me wrong, This is a really neat blog, I enjoyed it, but I am what they might call the band-geeky-est. :) lol...what are your favorite teams? Well, living in MN, I am pretty loyal...except I LOVE the Steelers, in honor of my little man ^Jayden^ (well, he's not mine, but I still love and miss him!) But in the summer my cousin Jack and I memorized ALL of the twins players..then they traded 1/3 of their team..story of my life.:) Who are are favortie players? I am a sucker for Joe Maur (not just cuz I'm a woman!!! He is a good person, the average Joe)...my dad grew up w/ his uncle, and I think that is cool. (He also grew up with 2 NFL players, Stevie Walsh--who he taught how to play football, by th way--and some other guy, whose name exacpes me for the moment!) ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you for following my blog, sorry about the late reply i just noticed the comments today or i wouldve been on that sooner. i am a junior anthropology major at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. and yes i LOVE sports. its one of my true passions. I am a huge fan of soccer, especially Manchester United or FC Dallas (im from dallas). Im not really a football fan unless its A&M and thats whole different experience. I am also a tennis fan, but i prefer to play instead of watch, it can get kinda boring. I swam competitively in high school so I follow swimming a lot too. Also I love rugby, it is so much fun to play and amazing to watch. My favourite players would have to be Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United Defender) or im a big Acie Law IV (A&M Basketball Guard who plays for the hawks now) fan.
